Es una parte esencial de nuestro ordenador, sobre ella se incorporan diversos componentes que permiten el correcto funcionamiento de nuestro PC. Para comprenderlo mejor, diremos que la encargada de administrar y coordinar todo el hardware de nuestro ordenador, es la Placa Base. A través de ella se realizan los enlaces de comunicación con los demás componentes internos y externos.
